Zagłębie Lubin and Korona Kielce are preparing for an exciting clash in Matchday 13 of the Ekstraklasa, Poland's top-flight football league. Both teams will be looking to claim three valuable points to improve their position in the standings and keep their ambitions on track as the season enters a demanding stretch.
Managed by Leszek Ojrzyński, Zagłębie Lubin head into this fixture with 19 points from 12 matches, sitting eighth in the league standings. Their biggest strength has been their home form, where they have recorded four wins, one draw, and one defeat in six games.
They are coming off a 2-2 draw against Motor Lublin and will be looking to put that result behind them with a victory that could move them closer to the top of the table.
Meanwhile, Korona Kielce have collected 18 points and currently sit in 10th place. The visitors arrive on the back of a 1-0 win over GKS Katowice, with Camilo Mena scoring the decisive goal.
One of their main attacking threats is Mariusz Stępiński, who has scored six goals in the league this season. The match will take place on Monday, November 2, at 6:00 PM local time (12:55 PM ET) at KGHM Zagłębie Arena, with just one point separating the two sides in the standings.
