MOREIRA AND MAIGNAN LEAD THE WAY IN THE DERBY

Rúben Amorim's side struck in the fourth minute when Christian Pulisic headed home a cross from Diego Moreira, who beat Carlos Augusto with a run down the right flank.

In the 10th minute, Adrien Rabiot doubled the lead with a soft, lofted left-footed finish that sailed past the defenders and into the far post following a Moreira corner.

The Nerazzurri responded in the 22nd minute through a header from Alessandro Bastoni, who capitalized on a deflection by Manuel Akanji from a corner kick.

However, Moreira made his mark again in the 43rd minute with a spectacular left-footed free kick. The Belgian curled his effort over the wall and caught Josep Martínez by surprise.

Beyond his attacking contributions, Moreira delivered an outstanding all-around performance, while Maignan proved decisive with several saves. His highlights included a double stop against Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Marcus Thuram in the 24th minute, followed by another spectacular save against Djed Spence in the 34th.

INTER CAN'T GET THE BETTER OF THEIR CITY RIVALS

The victory extended the Rossoneri's dominance in the Milan derby. Inter have now gone eight consecutive matches without defeating their fiercest rivals, a streak that adds to the pressure on the Nerazzurri in the battle for supremacy in the city.
