Julio Enciso scored a stunning equaliser for Ipswich Town as they held Hull City to a 2-2 draw in the Premier League.
Hull City 2-2 Ipswich Town: Enciso stunner seals a point
Hull City looked on course for their first Premier League win since matchday two, but Julio Enciso had other plans at the MKM Stadium.
Tim Iroegbunam cancelled out Florentino's opener for Ipswich before Oliver McBurnie's 68th-minute free-kick put the Tigers ahead, but Enciso had the last say to earn the Tractor Boys a point at the MKM Stadium.
Emersonn sprinted at Konstantinos Tzolakis after the Hull goalkeeper got his feet in a tangle, but the Greece international managed to clear his lines in time.
However, Ipswich would go on to take a deserved lead in the 22nd minute through Florentino, who fired in at the near post after Abdoul Ouattara drove past two defenders.
Enciso thought he scored a second goal 11 minutes later, but his header from close range was ruled out for a foul against Abdul Fatawu moments earlier.
Hull enjoyed more possession at the start of the second half, but were fortunate not to concede a second as Emersonn completely sliced a drive at the near post.
But the Tigers scored against the run of play, with Iroegbunam capitalising on slack Ipswich defending to calmly dribble into the box and hammer past Christian Walton.
Hull were suddenly on top and made the most of the momentum swing as McBurnie's free-kick lasered past the hand of the Ipswich goalkeeper, though their lead was short-lived.
Enciso danced around Iroegbunam and McBurnie before curling into the top-left corner in the 74th minute to seal a point.
McBurnie and Enciso hitting their stride
Hull were far from their best, accumulating just 0.68 expected goals (xG) from nine shots, three of which were on target, but their second-half performance provided optimism for the home fans.
Ahead of the match, Sergej Jakirovic called on his players to offer more support for McBurnie, and they did just that after the break.
Iroegbunam's run in behind allowed the striker to drop deeper and play a pass into the opposition half, while his free-kick came as a consequence of Mohamed Belloumi's tricky feet on the edge of the box.
Enciso scored Ipswich's equaliser against Nottingham Forest on MD8, and he was on hand to provide another magic spark for Gary O'Neil's side again.
He was responsible for 0.24 of Ipswich's 1.02 xG, the joint-most alongside Fatawu, while the Paraguayan led in shots (five) and chances created (seven).
Both Enciso and McBurnie have now scored in back-to-back league games as Ipswich and Hull move further away from the drop zone.
