Yann Bisseck, Francesco Pio Esposito and Piotr Zielinski were all on target in a commanding win at Stadion Feijenoord.

Luciano Valente was caught on the ball, and Inter moved it quickly down the right, with Djed Spence sliding through to Bisseck, who shrugged off his defender on the end of the box to whip his shot into the top-left corner after eight minutes.

Marcus Thuram forced a tame save out of Tjark Ernst shortly after, while Anis Hadj Moussa saw a tight-angled effort smothered at the other end just after the half-hour mark.

However, just as Feyenoord was building some momentum, Inter got its second in the 34th minute. After a pacy counter-attack, Spence's cross deflected kindly to Esposito, who smashed his header in off the crossbar, despite Ernst's best efforts to keep it from crossing the line.

Zielinski forced Ernst into action just before the break and then added to Inter's advantage nine minutes into the second half.

He brushed off his defender during a driving run to the edge of the box before arrowing a powerful strike past the helpless Ernst.

Feyenoord attempted to pull back into the contest, but Inter kept pushing and had a fourth ruled out in the 66th minute, when Esposito tapped in Federico Dimarco's cross, but he had set off too early.
